   I first learned of the concept of the ‘constitutional dollar’ from you. Or rather, from your magisterial treatise, Pieces of Eight: The Monetary Powers and Disabilities of the United States Constitution (2002).

   It should be required reading for all candidates for public office!

   Upon seeing your kind comment, I was chagrined to realize I had not properly credited you in my article on the monetary provisions of the United States Constitution. I will now correct that oversight.
